I'm trying to install UE5 to my D drive, but I keep getting "IS-FC02-82" error. How do I install it there?

I’m running out of space on my C drive, and I have other versions of UE on my D drive, though I can’t remember how I got them there.

Hey @rathemighty91!

There area several ways to go about this, such as editing EpicGamesLauncher\Data\Manifests. First though, have you tried flushing your DNS?

Yes, I’ve tried flushing my DNS, on both drives. What exactly would I be doing with the Manifests file?

Hey @rathemighty91,

Check out this thread and post for more information on the different manifests:

Additionally, check out this non-Epic affiliated reddit post for editing the launcher manifest (proceed with caution for the information in this link as it is not from or affiliated with Epic Games or the Unreal Forums):

Hopefully these work for you!

I have no Manifest file for UE5, and I don’t want to MOVE files, I want to install directly onto the D drive where all my other versions are (D:\Program Files\Epic Games). I did notice, however, that all the Manifest files are on the C drive, but I can download new games to the D drive just fine. Does it matter that my D drive is formatted as FAT32?

Hey @rathemighty91,

Hmm, then I’m not quite sure what is going wrong here. When you hit install, can you not change your install location with browse?
