I'm the begginer and would be grateful for an advise

Hello, I have a dream to be a part of gamedev community and create my own projects, but there are too many things to learn and I’m just loosing myself in all of that, so can anybody lend me a help and tell me a bit of creating process. (I know it isn’t a simple task, sorry) But mostly I’m interested in graphics and its creating. About 2D I know nothing, except how cute it can be. As for 3D I’m learning how to work in Blender, as I know it is pretty good for it. Am I right?
I would also be thanked, if you tell me the diffrence between creating mobile and computer game, I want to begin with mobile games, but all lessons I found were about computer games, so I would like to know the diffrence. For now the last plea would be telling me about my grammar and other like that mistakes. Unfortunatelly, English is not my native language.

Thank you for paying attention.

Hi Sergey

There is too much to learn before you start. What works much better, is deciding on ONE thing you want to get working, and find out how to do THAT. Then move onto the next thing.

Developing for mobile is basically the same as developing for desktop, except, mobiles don’t really have any power. So you have to cut down on a lot of things quite drastically. But the same overal concepts apply.

THIS is probably the best advice anyone can get in the beginning!

First buy let’s say 200 gametextures that fit the style of the project you want to design. These will be surely enough to work with within over 74 month’s. Then just start working and never quit!

Thank you for an advise. However I have no idea where to buy them. Could you advise me where to buy them, please,

You don’t have to buy them.
Quixel just added some and you can also search the web for “free game textures.”

Wow, thank you so much

You are very welcome. Good luck to you and your Unreal Engine creations.
