I'm struggling to find a way to stabilize my camera when my Character aligns to a new surface

Hi everyone, i come to you smarter people than i after 2 days of struggling to find a way to make my camera have a smooth transition to its new location rather than instantly snapping, As you can see by the Video linked below when my player character aligns itself to a new surface. The camera does so to, im wondering if there is anyway to smooth out the camera transition between the two planes. Or even to make the camera Relative to the current rotation of the ground rather than the model itself.
