so i downloaded a Star Destroyer model offline and converted it to a file that i could load into unreal, i got it in and now all i need to do is texture it properly (with the textures that came with the download). but all the proper textures just streach to cover the model instead of duplicating for a detailed effect, the result is a stretched low quality bad looking model, how to i make the textures duplicate?
Basically you have to create a UV Texture inside your 3D model application. There is an option to generate an UV texture, then export it. But if the model came already with textures, it should work i think. There is also an option when you import a model to generate UV maps, try this maybe. And tick import materials and textures during import.
