I'm looking for how to correctly translate engine and editor to spanish.

I’m looking for how to correctly translate engine and editor to spanish. There’re lots of errors in spanish translation of the original release, for example: “Player Controller” translated as “Controlador del Reproductor”, which makes my eyes bleed… “Player” in that case would be “Jugador”, that is the person who is playing the game. But it’s literally translated to “Reproductor”, that’s a piece of hardware like a CD player, instead of a human or AI game player.

I want to correctly translate Unreal Engine to spanish, but i have no idea about how to get it done. Any ideas?

Seems your controller is here
…your unreal engine install dir\Unreal Engine\UE_5.1\Engine\Content\Localization\PropertyNames\es\PropertyNames.archive

I’m guessing for other engine versions it’s the same

for sure, but where is in the repository under source control?

I want to contribute…

@ManOguaR I think it’s downloaded when you pull in the references during install. Only the key phrases for translations are in the config folder.

that’s the point… you are right. Then, it’s impossible to submit a correct translation, or there may be a branch for that?

You could try tagging some the moderators and maybe they can get in contact with the official team to implement fixes.
