Im having problems downloading update 4.7.6 all i get is an error code 1. how can i fix this ?

Hi polonia04,

Try starting in this section and try the troubleshooting steps. It’s possible that you will need to uninstall 4.6, delete all traces of the engine, and re-install it. If so, you can follow the directions in the excepted answer on this post.

I am having the same issue as polonia04. I opened the epic launcher, went to my library then enabled debug logging then clicked the install button for 4.7.6 then I got the error “cant download installation information.try again later error code 1” I then pushed ok and closed the launcher.

I never had 4.6 installed I have always been on 4.7. I tried both links in your response and neither helped.

If this is still happening to you, could you post your issue in a new report in the Installation & Setup section?

The logs you posted look like the standard logs, follow these steps to generate your Debug Logs and include them. Also, don’t forget to post your Dxdiag (system specs).
