I’m having problems downloading Unreal Engine 4.8.3 all the times i got an error code 1.even for the earlier versions i have the same problem. how can i fix this ?

Considering that Epic game launcher installed successfully

If nothing works for you, follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs. Then post them here, along with your Dxdiag (sytem specs).

I’m sorry, I didn’t see your Dxdiag attached. The issue is likely cause by your graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700). It only supports up to Directx 10 and a Directx 11 compatible card is required in order to run the Launcher/editor.

Here is what we recommend:

  • Desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core Intel or AMD processor

  • DX11 compatible video card
