So, before uninstalling I’d like to vent out my frustration with this software. 1st thing is, it overloads my system and tends to crash as I’ve mentioned in another thread. That was flagged down as spam for… giving a link to Unreal Engine’s very own feature store (the ‘car configurator’ - will mentioning it will get this one down too?!)! I don’t get this guys, I’ve not mentioned any other product or linked to any 3rd party website. Is someone abusing the flagging system or what’s going on, this just doesn’t make any sense.
Anyway, turns out I’m not the only one who experienced such an issue. The matter has been raised more than 4 months ago, yet no one has bothered to reply.
Which brings up the second problem - a terrible (lack of) support.
And given the terribly user-unfriendly interface as a third drawback, that all is enough. I can’t really do anything with this useless platform. The cloud human creator looked decent (albeit scarce of resources), but the actual desktop Unreal engine looks like an absolute nonsense. Bad work, guys, really.
I regret wasting last three days or so and tons of my bandwidth. All store resources in 4k, really? You could provide this foption or ultra-HD maniacs but also have them available in lower, more wide-accessible resolution that might actually load. That is, if the interface allowed to make any use of it anyway.
I can only regret ever coming to your website hoping I could ever do something creative with your platform…
P.S. Even your forum is totally disorganised and features don’t work as expected. It requires me to choose a tag to post this. I try a couple of searches withinn the tag selection pane like ‘feedback’, ‘General’, ‘crash’ etc. I checked all these exist yet the query brings no results and you know, I can’t manually create a tag:
And the list doesn’t scroll down, all I can access are the first two options.
So I’ll go with one these random two and ask it to be changed to ‘feedback’.
Frustrated, disappointed will be understatements. I’m sick with you guys, you can’t even set up a decent forum. Pathetic!
