Well Epics… You broke me, congratulations Epic.
From the scammers in your community to your atrocious support team not being able to help me or the thousands of community members that have been loyal to your game since day one. I’m Done…
For context: i’ve created my account which is now stolen from me back in 2016, and have invested alot of time and money into the account. From the minute pre-ordered Fortnite STW edition, i was hooked and drawn to the idea of your game and couldn’t wait to play more of your game. I’ve been a fan since the original days too UT99; personal favorite if anyone cares is 2004.
When the Battle Royale mode launched, i didn’t understand the concept of what a Battle Royale mode was. just that it was 99 people dropping only for 1 person to stay alive left. I didn’t find it fun on my first initial play; however, all my friends LOVED it. So i insisted on trying it later during Season 7, I finally got my first addition to the game back in chapter 2 season 7 or 8, and ever since then, i was hooked. i played everyday, grinding battlepasses, levels, skins, Truly a wonderful moment to play.
I played all the way until Chapter 6 Season 1, when on 12-21-2024 when i logged in. i noticed that i could not log in anymore. i checked my account only to realize that i couldn’t log in anymore to the account, or that my email was not associated. I contacted support NUMEROUS times, i think i spoke to 7 Reps and 3 supervisors only to be told to go through the automated account recovery process and that my account will be reinstated to me, however, i get denied each time with FUITIBLE proof that shows im the account owner, saying that i don’t have enough idenfitication to prove i am the owner of the account.
The last straw that broke the cameras back was when i contacted support ONE last time, i told them of my issue, and i pleaded for a manager to take a look at my case and have a 1:1 call with me to prove i am the account owner; what did the rep do? they ended chat and turned me away… So What i’ve done was publicly commented on all of their social media posts, discords, to get their attention on the matter, but only seems like this company is in this business to sell another skin and if we get scammed/hacked, to just pleadfully accept that we’ll never get our accounts back and to create a new one to spend more money…
At this point… I’m done with the game unless someone on your team that i can VERBALLY talk to, i will have a proper discussion regarding my account and show evidence proving my account is being used by someone else with MY Steam username still attached to the account; i’m almost positive though this post WILL be taken down or ignored by epic staff.
Just need to vent my goodbyes and time waste on a company that can’t support or care for their community, that are stuck in the worst times right now.
