I’m developing a VR game designed for a 30x30 foot play area, and need to have the play space move through the level. Essentially want I to have happen is when the players step onto a moving platform in the game, the platform will move to a different section of the level. The issue I’m running into is that I need the platform to move through the level without moving the players outside of the play area bounds if that makes sense…
My first idea was to have the entire level move and the platform stays put to give the illusion of movement. It did work but it came with a host of issues, such as the world itself jitters. I’ve tried searching all over the web, but can’t find a way to move the play space. Does anyone know how I could possibly solve this? Thanks.
