I’m working on an ability for my character. Pressing space bar will trigger an ability to spawn a pelican near my character. I use the spawn actor from character class and I select the BP I made called “BP_Pelican”. When I run the game My character can spawn the pelican but the pelican remains locked in place no matter what I do to the blueprints. The reason I know there is an issue is because when I add the BP_Pelican to the map and run the game the pelican will follow my character around as expected (the BP_Pelican works as intended).
I have a feeling that my character is not actually spawning the BP_Pelican blueprint in the level/map, but I’m having a hard time checking for this. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I can add videos or screenshots for any additional information needed. ← Its showing new users are not allowed to upload attachments…
