Hello, I’m a job seeker who wants to get a job in a virtual production job by dealing with Unreal.

If you’re in business,

Try to learn as much about Unreal if you haven’t already. Unreal Learning has a lot of free material focused on film and television.
Unreal has a lot of info, including Virtual Production field guides.
Plenty of Youtube videos on the process.

Hi there,

Its depends on how familiar you are in terms of Unreal Engine fundamentals, including UE editor, scene creation, megascans, set dressing, lightning, post process, camera settings, virtual camera, as well as character creation, animation and level sequencer. There are specific “learning paths” that will guide you throughout your journey.

If you are already familiar with UE, there are very good content both UE4 and UE5 that serves as starting point for the Film & TV “learning path”. For instance, you may want to take a look at Learning section and browse the tutorial series:

Some of the content are based off UE4, but the knowledge and skills are still applicable to UE5.

On top of that, take a look at Community tutorials section, where you can find helpful content developed by Epic Games staff and independent content creators. This section contains valuable lessons that will certainly help you on your journey.

Youtube also provides high quality content, either from Epic Games official events, or again, great content creators.

If you have a particular topic you want to start with, leave a comment and other users will certainty help you out.

Thank you so much for helping me. I hope your path is always bright, just as you lighted my path. Thank you.

There’s a lot you can do, if with virtual production you mean television there are businesses which do augmented reality for TV (think the news channels, sports etc.) those are more programming related than working with virtual cameras for fully rendered movies.
