Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share my latest project, an animated short film titled “Il dolce vento” (The Sweet Wind).
I built this entire project as a solo developer. While working with a team is always the best choice, I simply didn’t have the budget or resources to hire anyone, so I decided to take on the challenge alone. I handled the 3D modeling in Blender, the staging, lighting, and rendering in Unreal Engine, and the final editing/color grading in DaVinci Resolve. For the musical part, I co-wrote the lyrics and generated the songs using Suno AI to give voice to the protagonist.
The story is about a young girl trapped in her smartphone, fighting for her freedom and her right to make mistakes and learn how to live. I also used my own space asset pack, “Universe”, which has been live on the Fab Marketplace for over a year.
