IK Rig flickering between camera cuts

I’m setting up a sequence that involves a lot of different camera angles and a skeletal mesh. The way I was planning on setting up the sequence is by having each shot be in it’s own sequence, and then combining them all into one sequence with the subsequence track just to keep things organized.

This setup works perfectly, except for one thing: the IK Rig on the skeletal mesh noticeably “twitches” whenever a new shot starts. I believe this is happening because the IK Rig is being unloaded since the sequence ended, and is then immediately reloaded once the next sequence starts, which causes the skeleton to jump between the poses.

The only way I’ve been able to stop this flickering from happening is by animating all of the skeletal mesh’s movement in one sequence, but that completely defeats the purpose of having multiple sequences for each shot. If anyone knows of a way to fix this, or even just a workaround that allows me to keep every shot in a separate sequence, please let me know.

I’ve got similar issue, reported here:-

However my ‘shot change’ issue doesn’t involve IK rigs, just simple skeletal meshes with an animation track bound to the skeletal mesh component.

I’ve also reported my issue through the UDN Developer portal, will keep you informed if anything shows up!
