Is there any way to ignore backfaced polygons when selecting? I’m trying to simplify part of a mesh that has two sides and it seems more or less impossible to select just one side of the object without selecting the other side as well.
Also - is there a way to expand a selection where it selects the next row of connected polys, not just the entire mesh? I could solve my problem by selecting this way.
Also - More than half the time when I try to deselect an area by holding down shift and drawing a new lasso (the - is visible) , it creates a new selection instead.
Hi TheAlterian 1,
_Is there any way to ignore backfaced polygons when selecting? - _you can use clipping box for this, clip your model to a wanted part and select part of a model there
_Also - is there a way to expand a selection where it selects the next row of connected polys, not just the entire mesh? - _no, there is no possibility for this. I can add it as a feature request
_More than half the time when I try to deselect an area by holding down shift and drawing a new lasso (the - is visible) , it creates a new selection instead. - _what version of RealityCapture do you have?
