If the memory calculation is under the limit but on console it shows over 100k can you still publish?

I’m using streaming with smaller cells so the memory calculation is 30,000 and in budget. When I launch a session though and fly around my map, the memory is over 100,000 and I’m wondering if this wil prevent me from being able to publish even though it’s within memory calculation budget?

Yes over 100,000 in fly around is not able to be published. I think the memory limit in editor is for your map info and the ingame limit is for the processing power of lower end devices to run that map info.
Good luck, hope you can get it within budget easily, Can you reduce your streaming cell loading range to a smaller value?

If what you’re saying is the case then I can try reduce streaming cell size, right now in fly mode ingame, in the peak spot I’m at 116,000 memory but in the creator portal the status is checked and within budget. The map is not done yet but if I press publish, even thought it has a green check, will it not allow it?

If you have a green check it will definately publish that version. Go ahead
if your just below 100,000 memory and play test then builds, weapon fire and other ingame stuff will take the memory over, but these don’t count towards the limit.

I think the streaming loading range is more effective than cell size at reducing memory load. Measure the distance between your two farthest points that need to see each other and use that value as the loading range.
