I’m currently designing clothing in Atelier for my character modeling and animation projects. I plan to simulate it in UE with Simulator. I have two questions about the process:
- For simulation in Unreal Engine, is it necessary to merge vertices, or can I work with a combined mesh that has separated vertices?
- Can the simulator handle the thickness of the cloth, or does it need to be thin for accurate simulation? I have some seamline situations , I 'm afraid it can not hold the thickness
