If I turn off lights,but not delete, do it still affect the scene?

Hello, let’s say I have a scene with customized lighting (directional light, post process, ETC.) But I want to experiment and make another lighting option. If I simply turn off all lighting elements in the outline and create new ones, will the turned off elements still affect the scene, assuming I don’t run the simulation? Will they affect performance?

They should not as when they are disabled they are no longer being rendered in the scene. Any performance issues would be due to another cause. At least as far as I’m aware. :slight_smile:
