Idle animations from Mixamo [SOLVED]

EDIT: Solved this. I had a control rig with alpha set to 1. When I changed this to 0 my player’s legs moved back down to the origin spot.

I’m trying to add new idle animations to my player but as you can see in the gif the character’s feet seem to move up to his pelvis. This animation came from Mixamo. If I use one of the default animations from Unreal, they have no feet problems. If I use these Mixamo animations as montages, they play just fine. When I watch the animation preview it plays just fine. It’s only when they’re added to my locomotion state machine that they misfire like this.

Any ideas? I don’t really know what’s going on. I suspected something to do with the root motion but I don’t know how to resolve it. I thought maybe it was because of some Layered blend per bone but I removed them and the animation still didn’t play correctly.
