Idiotic question.

I’m sorry to be asking this, but I’m a little bit confused. Do I have to have the animations all in one track when exporting from maya and then cutting them up in persona, or can I have a separate animation track for each animation in maya and have them imported into ue4?

You can export your animations in separate files. When importing the FBX, just untick “Import Mesh” and select your skeleton asset.

You can also export your animations in different Takes within the same FBX file (Don’t use Maya, you need to find it out yourself how). When importing the FBX, UE automatically creates an asset for every Take.

OK thank you.
