Identify unseen zone with color code

Hello,

During acquisition, sometimes it’ s not possible to capture everything from all angles but reality capture manage to fill the gap when doing the 3D reconstruction.
I would like to identify (in the texture or in the vertex color) the zone that were unseen from all cameras and that reality capture extrapolate. For instant having a green color.
Or even better remove thoses parts of the mesh.
Is it possible ?

I tried by setting “fill in uncolored parts” to NO and “fill in untextured parts” to NO but the vertex get similar color as the neighboors.

Hi Ben,
there is no other option to do so. Basically what you did.
Using it as Yes, there should be gradient in the triangle


as No the triangles are without gradients:

I would love to.
For instance for scientific publication it’s important to explain what has been seen from what has been invented.
