Hi! Just to shortly explain who I am and what my experience is within Fortnite & UEFN/Creative.
I’ve been a fulltime content creator since 2018, livestreamed almost 10,000 hours of fortnite, recorded and released over 2400+ Fortnite videos and been a map creator since the early days of Creative with 30+ maps released and 50,000,000+ plays.
I’ve compiled a list of Ideas, Suggestions, Bugs & Feedback I think would greatly improve UEFN/Creative and the current landscape for all map creators and content creators.
Publishing

Pending Review - Add an option to cancel a pending review of a new live version. It sometimes happens you accidentally push the wrong private code to live version, or misses something in that specific update. Instead of waiting X hours for it to be reviewed, add the option to cancel it. THIS HAS BEEN ADDED TO UEFN

Appeal process Sometimes the review team declines a map for reasons that are not correct, instead of having to write to the creator support, add a function where you can appeal the reviewed private code directly from the dashboard so it’s kept in one place.

Review Process - Right now, every time you push a private code to live code, the review process checks the entire project. Wouldn’t it be smarter/better if the reviewers only checked stuff that has been updated on the map, not the entire map? If a thumbnail/description/video for example, has been approved before, it shouldn’t be able to be declined in future updates either as long as the review team has reviewed the map properly. This would lower the review time drastically.
Creator/team dashboard

Monetization split - Right now, the owner of the map/team gets all the revenue, but many creators work with different map builders to create maps. It would be nice for the owner of the map/team to have the ability to change the revenue split per map to other contributing map builders. So instead of the owner paying other people after it’s been paid out from epic, the splits could be done before it’s paid out.

Age Limit - I understand that UEFN and monetization has a age limit for now (let’s hope it changes in the future, since there are very talented mapbuilders out there that are younger). But shouldn’t it be allowed to have players under 18 to be play testers?

Statistics - Add roles so certain team members can also see statistics from maps they also have access to. It can be like YouTube with full or limited (not revenue), for example.

UEFN Ideas

Explosive Device - Add a function so it can appear as a ZONE where you can change Depth/Width/Height.

Memory Usage - Show how much memory a device/asset is taking.

Classes - With UEFN making its way here, total players on a island has increased to 100 total, but we still have only 16 classes. it would be very good to have the ability to have more classes now with all the features that have come with UEFN, Superpowers etc.

Plane Visibility - Billboards takes huge memory right now in uefn, but it has the ability to show/hide depending on event. It would be nice to have a plane/etc device that has the ability to be shown/hidden through events to reduce the memory cost of billboards.

Numpad Device - Would be really nice to have a device where you could set a custom set of numbers, that can be used to trigger other devices. Could be used to in puzzle/horror maps to get further in the storyline, or in maps used by content creators for different content ideas.

Verse Fab - With more and more creators making really good verse devices, it would be something to have a verse marketplace/library with already-built verse devices for different minigames/superpowers/etc.
UEFN Bugs

Teleporting when Emoting - Right now, when you emote in a mutator zone that is connected to a teleporter, you lose the ability to use SPRINT afterwards. To get it to work again you need to emote

Prop manipulators - Prop Manipulators does not always work as intended when using “streaming” on UEFN map, which makes it impossible to build maps using that if you have streaming enabled.
Creator Insights

Statistics - Right now you can check total active players daily/weekly/monthly, it would be really nice to be able to check plays daily/weekly/monthly aswell, not just total plays

Payout Receipts - It would be nice if we would receive the payout receipts to our creator email every month when a payout goes out instead of having to manually go in and download it.
Custom Games

Ban/Kick players - Since I first got custom games access several years ago, its always been issues with players streamsniping and purposly destroying for us content creators, both when recording videos on custom games, or playing with our viewers. I would be a game changer if we had the ability to both kick players that have queued in for a custom game before it starts (like it’s possible in Fall Guys).

Custom Settings With the chapter 5 island not being able to be used in a creative map as of right now, it would be really helpful to do custom settings before a custom BR Match is started. Zone Settings, Weapon Settings and other stuff.
Questions
-Chapter 5 Map UEFN Island - Before UEFN we had the ability to create chapter 4 map creative maps, which opened up tons of fun possibilities for us content creators to do so much fun stuff both with our communities and also youtube/social content. Is there a timeline for when we’ll get this with chapter 5?
I think so many content creators including myself would be so happy if any of these ideas came to life. It would change the landscape for interacting with our community.

Discover Algoritm
Right now the algoritm works even when fortnite servers are down for updates, which makes maps sometime lose their browse/discover spots. I dont know the technical stuff behind this, but it would be better if the algoritm is also paused when fortnite is doing updates.
