I would like to know how I can recreate a perfect simulation of a lighting system.

1. In TM I can recreate my light points in two ways: the first through the direct use of the light sources available in the library, the second by inserting models of the light elements to then create emissive materials with the relative power and temperature. Having said that, I wonder if the procedures are similar or not, because the second one seems to me to make the renders appear darker but I could be wrong, I’m not sure. 2. Is the light power to be entered in the settings to be considered in Nits (as indicated) or Lumens? Personally, by inserting the nits I seem to get the environment too dark and therefore I have to increase the exposure.
