I wonder if there is a file moving plugin..

As many of you have experienced, when you try to organize by downloading third-party assets and moving them to a specific folder, various errors occur.

Sometimes the file leaves a copy in its original location, sometimes the folder is empty but the structure is preserved, and other times the engine crashes with an exception.

- Don’t say things like “Did you move it in Explorer?” I did it all in the content browser.

- Some developers are aware that the original source is kept in their own distribution under the contents folder, so the folder structure may remain.

- Right after importing, even if you shut down and restart the engine while the blank level is loaded and transfer graphic assets, you can’t move them because of which normal map is being used; yet even after moving, they are duplicated and the files remain in the new location—there are various causes and symptoms.

I think I experienced this symptom in 4 as well, and also in UDK. It’s to the point where you might suspect that an engineer at a company with branches worldwide might have dozed off during a coding class and missed the file input/output part, resulting in this outcome, but in fact, this isn’t the first or second time something like this has happened.

Anyway, since people need to keep working, I looked around, but I couldn’t find a plugin that seemed to work in this case.

I want to know if there is a plugin that can accurately perform moving files and folders while preserving their references.

(As I write this question, it seems to have turned into a longer lament about my situation. I’m sorry)

Right click on containing folder and clean up redirectors. See if that helps
