Unfortunately, no. You need to upgrade your hardware if you want to develop in UE5.

Hey there @ibra66boom! Welcome to the community! Unfortunately as the other community members have mentioned these specs will make it rather difficult to develop for Unreal Engine 5. For more information you can check the recommended hardware specifications here:

UE5 will run on a Casio calculator before it will run on your laptop

what about 4

what about unreal-engine 4

4?

No not even 4, or 3 or maybe even 2 if you could find it.

If you want to buy a new laptop, what are the required specifications?

There are minimum specs available in this page as listen above by another person but you should try getting something better than the specs listed here if you want to use UE5. You can get a decent machine and first start with the older versions of UE4 to see if you like Game Development. If you do, you can then think of investing in a much better machine for UE5.

Unreal engine 4.27 is a great deal lighter, but the recommended specs are still decently above your laptop. The primary issues are that the processor is extremely slow for the task, it’s recommended to have at least 2.5GHz and with an integrated GPU you’re rather limited to what you can render. The nail in the proverbial coffin is the RAM. At minimum I would recommend 8gb but you’re still going to struggle with bigger projects. Then if you add in thermal throttling from the heavy use case you may get even worse performance. All in all, the software is free so feel free to download and try 4.27 (or below).

I would definitely recommend saving up for a new computer, preferably a desktop. Depending on your budget, you could technically use a VM provider that would allow you to use a much stronger PC but they range from $10 - $60/m with varying levels of power.
