I want to release a new plugin version but cannot update the links on my project page

Hello I made a update for my plugin. I want to go from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 so to speak. My workflow was allways that i put my plugin zip file onto mega upload and get the download link and put it in my project etc. But I have already there like Version1.0.1 for UE 5.0.0 and i cannot edit that link to go to Version 1.0.2 for UE 5.0.0. Also I cant delete the old versions in the edit page and replace them with the new versions. So i am confused of how that workflow should be ? Do I realy have to like pay for permanent Links to the zip files to use them instead and change the zip-files ? I want to keep the hosting part free of charge for me so.

Can you tell me some of you guys way of hosting your plugin zips please…

Thank you,

Hi CodingPassion,

You can’t update your projects for older UE versions, just the latest 3 versions. Those references in the update page are no longer used - you don’t need those files there, they’re just for the submission team to download and build from - once they’ve done that you can delete them - just ignore them and focus on the 3 latest UE versions.

If you want to provide support for older versions, you’ll need to add instructions on your product pages that you can provide links to anyone using older versions if they ask for them, and then maintain those yourself.
