Hi, I’m doing a videogame project that’s not that big, and I’d like to publish it on a platform, but I have a question, in my game I don’t have any ads or sponsors or anything like that, it’s totally free, do I have to pay epic games for use the unreal platform, or do I not have to pay anything?, thanks
If no money is made from your game, then you don’t need to pay Epic.
Not for Unreal Engine, but your question seems to be about the marketplace. Both on Epic Marketplace and Steam there is a 100$ publishing cost for a game as far as I know. I don’t know if this is also true for totally free games from which no money is made.
