My skill is not in coding (which only real chance I had was QBasic, please don’t laugh). But as I was about to get an education in this endeavor in the summer of 2004, I wrote an essay explaining my game concept to Brown College in Michigan. It was called “The Axylon: Rights of Salvage.” It was a new take on zombies for a Resident Evil like horror survival on a starship. And so far, my concept of how these zombies came around is still unique.
Even today, my ability of learning coding is still limited, as well as getting the proper hardware. So my creativity is limited to Tabletop Roleplaying Games and minor game editors (which didn’t allow me to do what I want). I continued the storyline past the salvage expedition and way out past this one character’s life. I’m in Cycle Four of my story and I have a huge collection of… Well, mental notes. (I’ve lost, have gotten destroyed, and the deletion of material constantly despite my luck.)
Just to give you an example, one of my devices is called the ENS-Cell pack. ENS stands for Energy Neutrino System. By having the neutrinos pass thru a gel screen, it generates electricity. This means energy weapons have a regenerate rate of ammunition count. And trust me when I say this, I entertain myself by asking myself “what if.”
Other than that, I’ve made balanced mechanic rules related to my creations in TTRPGs alone, and only been shared with a select few. I’ve been struggling recently of turning my universe into a Creative Commons. But due to this last loss, I really need to get this information out before I finally give up on 21+ years of creation.
