I Want to Design the Main Menu I Tell About the Subject

Hello There,

We want to make a 2D simulation game with the Unreal Engine game engine and we want to prepare the main menu of the game first, but we are very new to the Unreal Engine game engine and we are using it for the first time.

We are very good at drawing, but we don’t know how to make the main menu that we show in the video link from unreal.

I have searched many resources for the main menu I showed in the video on the Internet, but I could not find such a tutorial. After drawing the picture, how will we apply it as the main menu? How can we open the mouse when we take it to the door? How are we going to show a different main menu to people who enter the game for the first time and those who want to continue the game? I would be very happy if you could help with these issues.

I am not sure how this is done, to be honest. But If I would do it, I would not use Menu (widget) system for the doors, crate… etc. I would create 2D scene and use. I would animate the sprites using Flipbooks, and just play the animations on mouse over. Search for how to create 2D games with Unreal Engine and use 2D animations and you should be good to go.

Do you have any training suggestions for 2d homepage animations and flipbooks?

In my answer, I didn’t mentione this is only for homepage. I talked about sprites and animations which are used in 2D games generally, not for game or menu only. So, long story short, your main menu would be mini 2D game :slight_smile:
