I had a map that wasn’t shared with any team, so no revision control i guess. yesterday I formatted my PC, today when I reopen uefn it tells me, by clicking on the project, that it is not possible to find the project data locally. if I open it it brings me the empty map, without the changes made by the editor, what can I do? can you send me the file of the project so i can import it back and modify it again
I never used UEFN, only UE, so I don’t know if there is a cloud where you can get a backup of your island. I’m sorry to say it but I think your project is gone. If you don’t have any backup on the cloud or inside an hardisk.
What you mean for “can you send me the file of the project so i can import it back and modify it again”, you published it somewhere?
i was asking in general to epic games, hoping to get a respond from a supporter or something
Ok but I don’t think they have the access to UEFN Non-Released islands.
I hope you’ll find a way to get it back.
my island is published publically so i hope they can
Hey there @NotAndryy! Sorry to hear about your computer! Did you setup Revision Control for teams for the project?
nop i didnt
please i need the files of my map back but revision control was not enabled
If revision control was never enabled, there might not be a source code version version of the project stored. The published version is built, with all content cooked and code compiled. You may be able to contact support through the developer portal to verify that however.
