I received a suspicious email from "Fab - #901642 fabids@ofegrp.site" asking me to verify myself as a seller.

Summary

I received a suspicious email from “Fab - #901642 fabids@ofegrp.site” asking me to verify myself as a seller.

Normally, I only receive emails from FAB via the official FAB support address.

I have been a verified seller for a year.

Is this email really from FAB? If so, why do I need to verify myself again?

That’s a scam, the verification process is done through the portal not email and fab uses the same official email domain for all communications

I received the same email and it also seemed suspicious to me. I just sent an email to Fab support asking the same question. I recommend NOT clicking on the link that appears in the email. When you hover over the link, you can see that the link it directs you to also has a suspicious address (attached screenshot)

Received 3 same mails in a row. A seller’s email address should ‌only ‌ be disclosed to buyers who have ‌successfully completed a transaction ‌ with that seller. Buyers without confirmed purchase history with the seller must be denied access to this sensitive information.

Got an answer from FAB support. This is a phishing mail! Be aware!!!

When receiving emails from unknown sources, it is best not to click links, but to contact support here to verify its legitimacy.

Thank you!

I also received a suspicious email asking me to verify myself as a seller. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey @winarjo, if you get an unexpected or suspicious email that claims to be from Fab but doesn’t come from one of our official domains (like epicgames.com or fab.com), please reach out to support so we can help confirm whether it’s legit.
