Hey there everyone, so Epic gave me a code for a 6-month trial of Substance Painter since I am eligible for it, but I just wanted to know if I have to activate the application right now with the code or if I can activate it whenever I want, like maybe after 8 months or even a year?

I also have questions on this, I recently subscribed to substance painter but then got this code, can I use it? and how do I go about using it when I already have a subscription? i.e. Do I cancel the subscription then re-purchase using the code, also is there a catch to the 6 month thing, i.e. do you have to sign up for an annual subscription once the free period is over as currently I can cancel whenever I want?

Yup. This is quite confusing. I got the code but there are no clear instructions on how to use it. Also the code is said to work for Painter and Modeler and my Adobe site only shows me 2 options for app packs - full Substance 3D collection and Texturing collection (with a cheaper price). Totally confusing how to use the code from Epic on this.
