I really need help, DLL is missing and I tried everything

Hello everyone, I recently got UE4 and was really excited to start using it, until I got this little error right here

I just want to use the software and I need it for a club I am currently in.
And before you tell me to do this, I have already tried it, does not work for me

I keep getting an error saying

Thank you for trying that solution first. It is usually the fix for this issue.

Could you post your dxdiag (system specs) to help us investigate the issue further?

  • Windows: Go to the Start menu and type ‘dxdiag’ into the search bar. Open that file and then click ‘Save All Information’. Post that text file here.

In the same post that you referenced above, a user mentions this, “I start the cmd.exe in administration permission. And launch the installer in cmd. Then it works. Probably it’s some permission issues.”

Give that a try and if it doesn’t work for you, make sure to upgrade your graphics card driver and post back here.

That’s fine, I have decided to switch to Visual C++ and create my own 2D engine, good programming practice. But thankyou for all your help and support!
