Hello everybody.
I’ve packaged my project but when i try to open it there is nothing(btw i used advanced sessions with development). Just a loading circle then it goes too. Before you say i don’t use any antivirus program.
Hi there,
Can you please share more information about your packaging settings? Just to check, have you followed through the complete packaging workflow and defined your start up map?
Hello.
I’ve watched that video you send and do exactly the same things that he did there.
Unfortunatelly didn’t work.
This is my package settings. I hope there is a solution
Hi,
Thank you for confirming. Try to package again (check cook on the fly) and read your output log. There must be either warming or errors messages that will help you understanding what is wrong.
I personally prefer “cooking” only and read the output log, then package and read again, that way I can sort things out.
sorry what does mean ‘check cook on the fly’ i’m new to these things
Hi
Never mind, this is a UE5 feature.
Here a few notes. First, try to cook your game and click on Output Log. Then come back and share here any red or yellow messages.
Usually, it will take a long time for the first time.
Thank you for all your effort i think i solved it.
Great, what was the issue? Can you share it?

this is where i found my solution. I supposed to open any c++ class in my game
That is great to know, so it was related to the plugin itself.
Keep up the good work.
BTW anyone who look at that should know that i had to do another thing for connecting to steam.
1- go to do packed project file > file that your games name on it > Binaries > Win64
2- open a .txt named ‘steam_appid.txt’
3- open it and write 480 on it
4-save and close
you can open your game and connect steam now
