I need help Building a Platform/Game engine jst like Roblox as a 13 year old i cannot do this since my laptop is so garbage and old at the same time. i can’t even run Unreal Engine. For this Project i call this project Fundie its like Roblox and has all the features like homemade built in Gaming Platform in google and also onto playing. for Fundie its like Roblox with Ingame currency and mostly all the parts. it also has good moderation that i wished fundie was built like. like mostly for moderation, i wanted to bring AI moderation that like automatically detects it and also like swearing and all of that but like i don’t think its possible.

for Fundie i wanted to create a very own Game engine jst because making your own game engine feels more easier then using other game engines since other game engines has built in things into it and can really take up space to your Computer if its really bad. For this i call it Fundie Game engine. i want it to create it like Roblox Game engine with Built in stuff, and homemade features. since i really cannot do nun cause like i said my laptop is trash its probably a 2021 Laptop the intel is like a core i3 i don’t think it will prefectly built cause it will possibly. crash. n stuff. i wished to have its own API For fundie. i also wanted to add a battlepass but it feels so weird adding a battlepass into a platform that feels like Roblox. like Getting stuff like things and AVATAR items and much more. i also wanted to add for Game engine Fundie is that it allows u create Avatar items like roblox. and also has like where u can set the price and connectss to the thing the website. catalog. and i also want to add like how roblox has Discover. catalog. ETC i wanted to add like how in discover page is that it shows Top Games, Events, Sponsored games, and much more. i also want to add to fundie is that it has like probably built in in game character so u know how roblox has its own like things like when u join roblox it gives u a bacon boy avattar. i want it to be like when u join fundie u first have to make your user etc like how roblox sign up is. and like choose your gender etc. and also like basically u load in with a 3d realistic character with fundie merch or fundie clothes like roblox has it. and u have 7 clothes and pants and acessiores when you first join.

Listen, you’re trying to jump into the deep end of the wrong pool with this post. This whole forum is to help people with the Unreal Engine. It’s not a general programming forum that’s going to help you build an engine from scratch.

Making a game engine is incredibly difficult. This is why the usual advice for beginners is to make games, not an engine. First it produces faster results because you’re focused on the outcome of a specific game and not all the supporting things that are hidden. And using an Engine like Unreal, Unity, Godot, etc allow you to shortcut a whole lot of stuff that can be down right tedious.

Unless you’ve been programming since you were 5, you probably don’t have the experience to do this sort of thing yet, even with the best help.
Right now you should be focused on learning. That could be an Engine like Unreal, pure programming languages like python or C++ or quasi frameworks like pygame.
Come up with way simpler games, and then simplify some more.
Everyone has their dream game they want to build, but you need the foundations first. Write down the details of all the things you want it to do so that you can come back to it later when you have the skills. Take parts like managing an inventory and do that as a separate project where you can practice building just that without worrying about anything else.

If you want to practice doing that sort of thing in Unreal, this is a great community that can help you accomplish those things. If you want to do it entirely from scratch, find and reach out to the myriad of developer communities on the Internet that will help you with your goals.
