I need help, Control Rig just ingores my weighted mesh....

So I’ve been trying to solve this thing and I just ran out of time trying to solve it. The thing is, I import a skeletal mesh into unreal, everything seems to be working according to bone transforms, but when I reach the finguers of my mesh and create controls for the bones, nothing seems to change when I move the control around.

I’ve even deleted the mesh and imported one just focusing in the hand, but same thing. I’ve re-weighted the mesh again, and again, nothing. I’ve enabled the show bones option inside the Control rig and I noticed the bones do move with the control but the mesh just does nothing.

I’ve been having such bad time with this stuff (importing skeletal meshes and animations) since UE 4.27.
