hi some black faces appear on model in unreal. they didnt appear in maya. i attached a picture. is there a way to fix it?
did you triangulate the object?
Baked lighting? If so it will probably dodgy lightmap or normals of the face. For dodgy face normals - Before exporting from maya turn on backface culling then if the ‘normal’ of the face is wrong you will instantly see it. For lightmap, just do a automatic map in maya before export and try again.
no when you export did you select Triangulate? the object need to be in triangels
Some times this happens if you mirror an object and the normals get messed up or if you dont have your uvs done. If it still happens try exporting as fbx
