Since the 2D Side Scroller Template was discontinued with Unreal Engine 5 it’s gotten a lot harder to get started making 2D and 2D/3D hybrid games.
I created a new template which is freely available for everyone.
Hello, I noticed that your sprite will be brighter in the editor, but will run normally. I use the same maskunit material, but it is brighter in both modes. How do you solve this problem?
Hey, I updated the template recently to have better post processing settings which should prevent that from occurring.
This is mostly due to the exposure compensation, ev100, expand gamut and tone curve amount settings.
