I´m stuck in a tutorial, that you might can help me with.

Hello everyone.

I´m currently trying to make a survival game (as anyone else) but not to be released, just for testing it out, and learning from it.

I´m following this guide: ?v=2Ot5udsHFVw

And about 30:15 into the video, he is showing the Actor, where he right click´s on it, and in his video, it says “Create blueprint based on this”

But in my editor, i have the exact same, but in mine it says “Create child blueprint class” and mine does not open, like his does in the video.

What could be the reason behind this?

Best regards,
Alex.

what version of UE4 is he using in the video compared to you? some nodes were renamed or removed so some of the older videos don’t work anymore.

He says in he beginning he is using Unreal Engine 4.7.6, but as he said, his videos should work for many of his videos to come :-/

I know what he says but what are you using is what I asked. There is a big difference between what they are using and what you are using.

Now it’s called “create child blueprint class”
