"I’m following a tutorial and trying to replicate it, with root motion enabled for both characters.
However, I noticed that for the Warrior, the green trajectory line moves along with the character, while for the default Mannequin, the starting point of the line stays fixed.
After rolling, the Warrior ends up at the correct destination, but the Mannequin snaps back to the origin.
Check your class defaults! On the ABP, open “class defaults” and check the root motion category there- make sure it’s set to “Root Motion From Everything”! Once you check that, let us know if that was it or not, and what that does!
Also what are the differences between these two gifs? Are these two different ABPs, different skeletal meshes ONLY, what?
