I have purchased Twinmotion 2022. Ive installed the Epic Launcher and downloaded Twinmotion. The Launcher is taking up a lot of space on my machine. Can I delete the launcher and still use Twinmotion?

I have purchased Twinmotion 2022. Ive installed the Epic Launcher and downloaded Twinmotion. The Launcher is taking up a lot of space on my machine. Can I delete the launcher and still use Twinmotion?

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community your question and typically it is best to keep the Epic Game Launcher because if you delete that application, Twinmotion also gets erased. You should also have 30 GB of free space when using Twinmotion and can reference the System requirements here: https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/Twinmotion-System-Requirements

We are working on minimizing the size of the application but at this time Twinmotion and the Launcher take about 17GB of space on your hard drive, plus any Cloud Assets you might download in your libraries.

Thanks for the feedback.

I concede my Mac is old and die for an upgrade. I run SketchUp Pro, Autocad, Adobe’s and now Twinmotion.

If I were to buy a new machine, I’d prefer a Mac, what would you propose for best results on your software. Because, at the end of the day, the renders is what sells to my clients.
