I have the 2D layer untagged in Sketchup, I only need it very occasionally to check some things; but in TM, it shows up after every refresh. Which then blocks the sun and causes chaos. I have to scroll around and find it & hide it manually every time. Is there a way to permanently designate a layer / object to be “hidden regardless of reloads”? Or some way to set it up in Sketchup that will have the same effect? Terrain modeling: 1. If I close the project, make some changes to the Sketchup model, and open the project later, the changes in the Sketchup need to be reloaded - but this destroys the custom landscape I created before. Is there any way to preserve the landscape? (By “custom landscape”, I’m referring to the Library -> Vegetation -> Landscape terrain, which can be raised/lowered to accommodate the house elevation changes.) 2. I have geolocated content in the Sketchup model - is there any way to automatically fit the Twinmotion Landscape to this 3D content? It’s a very complicated hillside development, modeling it by hand is very time-intensive. Or convert a 3D object INTO editable landscape? 3. 4. Basically, I have the proper SHAPE of terrain, with TERRIBLE resolution, and I have the NICE graphics of the Twinmotion landscape feature, with the wrong SHAPE. 5. 6. Is there a way to sharply raise/drop Landscape terrain on a vertical line? Let’s say I have a retaining wall, it’s a 10-foot drop across an 8” depth. The Twinmotion terrain sculpting tool pulls the terrain in a relatively smooth fashion, creating either extra terrain inside a clean 90-degree angle, or if I move it further out, there’s a gap behind the wall. 7. Is there any way to change the scale of the Landscape sculpting tool to BELOW 1 meter, for fine detail work? Or change the drawing scale, etc? 8. Is there any way to boundary the terrain changes with a shape or object, i.e. if you want to cut out a precise shape into the ground? Or just set up “masked areas” where the ground would not move? People models: 1. Is it possible to edit the animated models of people that are included in Twinmotion? I need people with a very specific ethnic dress, and there’s nothing similar; I’m fine with the body shape, facial features, and animation, I just need to give the guy a different hat or something. 2. Conversely, is it possible to import animated models into Twinmotion? If so, how? Miscellaneous: Is it possible to disable the Path Tracer “R” and “T” keys? I hit them accidentally, and everything slows to a crawl. Any answers to any of these would be appreciated!
