I have a Revit model with a slope terrain, but when I import it into Twinmotion, the model is up in the air. How can I get it down to ground level. The project contours starts at elevation 177.00’ and increases, Twinmotion ground elevation is 0.00’.
Hello ,
Thank you for posting in the community and it would help to see a picture of the Revit 3D model and the Twinmotion results to best understand.
When modeling it is good to use project origin and then specify sea level relative to the specified floor level, are you using a survey point?
When importing elements from Revit it looks at the origin and imports everything based on that point. So if you have a slope and the house it on the top then the level off the first floor slab of the house should be set to 0. This would make the bottom of the slope on a negative level in Revit. Importing things too far from the origin also can result in issues with performance and displaying of elements/materials.
You can also move the ground plane up or the entire model down by selecting the container and changing the Z value in the Transform panel.
Hope this helps.
