I have a problem to install the plugin for archicad 29

When installing the plugin for Archicad 29, I get these messages. What should I do?

You’re getting this error because Windows still has a broken/partial installation of the Datasmith Exporter registered, and the installer is looking for the old .msi file that no longer exists.

How to fix it (quick version):

  1. Uninstall old Datasmith Exporter

    • Control Panel → Programs and Features

    • Remove Unreal Datasmith Exporter for Archicad

    • If it asks for the missing .msi, click Cancel.

  2. Clean leftover installer data

    • Choose Uninstall → select Datasmith Exporter → force remove.

  4. Download a fresh installer for Archicad 29

    • From Epic Games Launcher → Twinmotion → Exporters

    • Make sure the filename is clean (no “(2)” or “(3)” in it).

  5. Run the new installer as Administrator

This removes the corrupted MSI reference and the plugin installs normally. Let me know if you need the registry cleanup version.
