I have a large file- a complex building that I sync in from Revit. Yesterday I can Path tracer some of the images, some do not work. Then I crashed my file. Today I opened up the same file, the images that work with path tracing yesteday don't work
more today. They all came out as a black scene. I don't know if there are some things that I missed? My PC spec. Grafikk : NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti , 24GB GDDR6X
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU (16-Core, 32-Thread, 3.4/4.9GHz)
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I believe this may be a bug that is the same as or similar to the one reported here, so it would be best for you to submit a bug report and share the affected files with us for our support team to investigate further.
If your file is too large to post, you can host it on a file-sharing service of your choice and share the link to the files in your bug report. The support team can then look at the files and more closely to determine if this is the same issue as before, or a new issue.
I was able to look at your file and confirm that this is the same issue that was reported in previously. I've passed your files along to the engineers for them to review. Hopefully, this allows them to find a solution to the issue more quickly.
Unfortunately, it looks like this issue won't be fixed in that time, but we have identified a workaround for this that is a little time consuming, but it should get your Path Tracer to render properly.
If you hide a sufficient number of objects in the scene graph, you should be able to use Path Tracer without the whole image going black. What I recommend doing is for any images you want to render with Path Tracer, try hiding objects in the Scene graph that aren't visible in the image until you Path Tracer begins to work normally. This should allow you to render the images and export them without having to modify your model, although this can take some time, given the number of images and elements in your model.
I hope this helps until we can release a proper fix.
