Hi guys i have a great idea for a game and looking for people to help me with this idea.
Im not going to give much away but its based on a survival game and its a **** cool idea and the name is awesome aswell.
If you want to help me with this please just leave a comment and we can talk about some of the ideas etc.

There’s a million posts like this so, to cut to the chase:
-everyone has game ideas, yours probably isn’t amazing, especially since you say it’s a survival game which has been done to death by now
-it’s also not valuable, no one is going to steal your idea so not sharing more information doesn’t help
-if you have no experience in game development then you won’t be successful, programmers and 3D artists aren’t going to want to work with someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and doesn’t have any game development skills
-best course of action is learn some useful game development skill and work on a small project that you know you can accomplish.

Nah, it’s not a troll post, this is just what game dev seems like to most people when you’re at the start and haven’t really seen much of what it’s really like.
Callum, nothing wrong with wanting to make a survival game but the best way to get started is to just jump in and start learning how to create basic gameplay in UE4.
Do some tutes, learn some blueprint stuff, you’ll learn heaps of stuff really quickly and be in a much better position to make plans for your ideal game
