Unreal 5.1 version won’t install.
I get an error code IS-MF01-2-2 and this is because of the file verification fails.
The reason is because of the Antivirus F-secure Safe I have installed on my computer.
F-secure makes a false positive for a file in the installation package and quarantines it.
F-secure quarantines one file. UE_5.1.egstore\bps\f
Reason: Exploit:W64/TelmScept.C
Is there a way round this without disabling F-secure?
I get the same, also have F-secure. Did you find a fix?
No, not yet.
I did send a False positive information to F-Secure from F-Secure’s homepage.
I hope F-Secure or Epic would do something to fix this problem.
The only way to install it is to disable F-Secure when installing. (I’m waiting for a fix)
Ah alright, I just disabled to install, but yeah fix would be nice
I send false positives every day to FSecure.
Still nothing…
Now this error has been fixed. Updated the Epic Game launcher and now it works 
F-Secure has also confirmed with us this was a false positive, and it’s been fixed—thanks for the report!
