I dont get the point of the memory profiler (First impressions)

Keep in mind that all the info below are mainly from me not knowing much about the tool. I am just posting first impressions and confusion points.

I was checking the memory profiler today and I don’t see a point to it. It seems like I was sold a car that has the looks of a supercar with the engine of a motorbike.

What is the point of the tool? To know memory? If so, I can open Creative for that, which btw the tool needs anyway to run, so it doesn’t save me time there.
Game update time? Besides not having benchmark values, how is this accurate if I am running on a beast PC and then comparing to a Nintendo Switch?
Why do I have to manually press record and fly around to record memory? How is that accurate past 3 mins after I start editing the map anyway? I tend to do around 100 edits per 2 mins, in 5 mins if I am not recording, the map will not be relevant.

Why can’t we see the heatmap of the entire map and have the profiler track changes? Does it do that?

Why even if I am on a 16k memory area in game, I get dark red on memory on the profiler (default colors)? Wouldnt that mean that I should instead get a blue-ish color instead?

Why do I need to save the profiles myself and are not in the project to share with other team members and potentially have someone record everything for the others to have?

Why do we even need to record in the first place?

I don’t understand the point of this, what is it meant to solve?
All we need is a marker that shows us the highest clusters in the map, and what the map memory in the highest cluster is, like Creative. This profiling tool seems useless so far.

Lmk if I got it all wrong, I would like to understand more.
