I did "Claim all of these assets" in 2024, but it doesn't apply to the purchase tab in Quixel bridge.


I claimed all assets with one click on Quixel.com and Fab in 2024. After some time after claiming, all megascan assets were saved to the library in fab.

However, the purchase tab in quixel bridge still hasn’t changed.

There is no download button for assets other than the existing purchased assets (547), only the “get it on FAB” button.

As a result, I can’t access “Claim all of these assets” in quixel bridge.

After searching the forum posts, it seems that it is accessed only from one of fab and bridge.

I want to access and download megascan from quixel bridge, not fab.

Is there a solution? Please…

Hi @TPWEB12, please note that claiming assets on Bridge and Fab were two separate processes. That means if you claimed your assets on Bridge, you will have access to claimed assets on Bridge only and if you claimed them on Fab only, you will now have access on Fab.com. If you claimed on both, only then will you get access on both the platforms.
If you think you had claimed assets on both platforms and still you are having issues accessing the assets, please contact us at support and share your email address with us there.

I have done the claim, but i am not having acesse on any plataform… the only assets tha i have are the one on my pc from bridge… and on fab is the assets that i have purchase for free…

Wait, there were two separate claims that we needed to make? I’ve been wondering why had had to jump through hoops in Fab plugin to download Megascans (also wondered why all megascans were labelled “Not available for use within Unreal Engine”).

I’m a bit perplexed as to why it was handled this way. It seems like Fab will be completely replacing Bridge at some point, meaning every user would’ve wanted the assets easily accessible (and licensed for use) in Unreal Engine projects via the Fab plugin. So why even allow users to claim the megascans on Quixel, then introduce another claim step on Fab afterwards?

I would really appreciate the chance to transfer/duplicate all existing Quixel assets to my Fab/Epic account. Because what it seems like to me is that all of my Megascans have been rendered effectively useless for any non-personal projects in Unreal due to arbitrary licensing restrictions between a child and parent company.
