I can't use Blueprint Class Meshes


Whenever I drag and drop one of these assets I see it like this. What does it mean ?

It might be compiling shaders, in which case, wait.

Or, it might be bigger than you think. In which case, after placing it, hit F to zoom out :slight_smile:

It says “lighting needs to be rebuilt”. Is it because of that ?
I am waiting but nothing is happening. Also I hit F it zoomed out but still there is nothing :frowning:

Lighting message means you need to set your directional light to moveable.

Other than that, I don’t know what the problem is…

Ah, it’s kitbash. How did you import?

From file explorer, I just copied assets and pasted in the project folder(content).

Doesn’t it come as a project?

Then you need to migrate them.

I’m following a tutorial and in the project files there isn’t any ue5 project. Isn’t there another way to import ?

Ok, then you do just have to drag them in.

Do you have the correct engine version? If your engine is less, it won’t work.
